First Time Home Buyer Program
The Campbell Redevelopment Agency approved $250,000 for the first time homebuyer program for fiscal year 2006-2007. Each individual deferred loan has a maximum amount of $25,000.
The major program requirements include:
1) Can't have owned property in Santa Clara County within the last three
years;
2) Maximum household income allowed is $84,985 for a household of one; $97,060 for a household of two; $109,250 for a household of three; and $121,325 for a household of four;
3) The property must be located in Campbell, California regardless of mailing address and must pay taxes to Campbell CA. (March 2006)
Once the funds have been all expended, there will be no new funding until

Campbell BMR Program
(For sale & Rent) The Campbell Redevelopment Agency requires that within the Redevelopment project area, 15% of new ownership or rental units be affordable to households below 120% of the County household median. In December 2006, the Campbell City Council approved a citywide Inclusionary Housing Ordinance which mandates that 15% of developments with 10 or more residential units be affordable to low and moderate income households.
The City of Campbell maintains two "interest" lists for first time homebuyers. One list is for applicants who rent or work within the Campbell city limits and are interested in purchasing their first Campbell home. the second list is for all other potential applicants.
